Oh? Like going back to work? 😬
My “work” is fun!!! Just had a 3 hour meeting with the guy who runs the USA. We talked business while out off roading in the desert and then went went to dinner. I’m headed to Germany for Oktoberfest with a strategic partner and I’ll be staying at a spa in a castle for a few days of meetings and then back home and then off to Mexico for a week.

None of this sucks at all. 😁

And it’ll pay for the new house and horses 👍🏻

He does excellent work! This blade takes a wicked scary edge. I just ordered another one should be here later this week. I’m a big fan 👍

Last update, I wanted the engraving to stand out just a bit and not look so fresh and I have zero patience to wait for normal patina from aging to happen. So I ordered some 44/40 bluing cream from Brownells (the stuff is AMAZING) and carefully applied a thin brushing of it to the engraved area with a water color brush. Blotted it out in about a minute, quick rub with an oily rag and done. The whole process took about 5 minutes. I think it came out ok. I certainly like it.

That brought it out nice!
Cool it came out that well, especially as an afterthought.

Going shooting this Friday with son-in-law and daughter and I’m bringing this and a few other toys. Loaded a few rounds with FF Pyrodex to see if I like the smoky stuff. Going to chrono my smokeless load vs the BP equivalent.

That is SIGNIFICANTLY better.

As lasered engraving looks fine on some things. It did not look right on that rifle.

The blue job fixed it.

The blueing is the icing on the cake for that well executed engraving. Great work!

I liked it from the beginning but it did need "something". I do agree it looks better once I darkened it a bit. Thanks
