I finally got everything finished. I take my comment back about the barrel blank being nice for the money. I don't know what grade steel it's made of, but it chamber reams like crap. It's the most grabby, gummy shìt I've ever had the displeasure of cutting a chamber in. I ended up boring out the chamber end the length of the case, making an insert out of O1 tool steel and green loctiting it in place, then chambering. It worked out beautifully.

I loaded up 13 rounds last night just for testing today. Unfortunately I do not have my chronograph here but load data says the 71 grain bullets should be traveling at 1115 fps.

I've only fired one so far. Chambered, fired and ejected nicely. Lots of noise and fireball from the muzzle 😁
