I forgot to critique the scope, I'm impressed. I had to choose between two, this and the Leupold pig Plex. I'm a Leupold fan, my other three hunting rifles wear Leupold. For this rifle I had a hard decision, because I wanted a light short to medium range scope, I went with the SWFA 2.5 x 10. SWFA has been in business almost 50 years and has a lifetime guarantee. The glass is very clear, the adjustments are easy. Just what I wanted. As much as I like my Leupolds and vintage red fields, I wouldn't;t hesitate to buy another SWFA.

well....it ain't done yet.
I chose a composite AR 15 lower to save weight and for weather resistance, bad idea! The composite wasn't strong enough for the butt plate and sling mount. I;ll be changing over to an alloy receiver Tuesday afternoon.
