Good choice, needs the wooden inserts in the grips instead of the ones it has though.
Which ones?
I will be looking when I get home

No. It needs the Hogue finger groove Goodyear grips.

Had that same gun with the shorter barrel. Loved it. Sold it like a retard.
Order the wolf spring kit. Helps the crappy Ruger trigger tremendously. And the Hogue grip. I liked the factory grip. But follow up shots required futzing about to get it back where it was supposed to be. More important was the fact that getting it where it was supposed to be on the draw wasn’t possible for me. Zero consistency. The Hogue fixed all that.

Huh? Wait!! @CPJ is suggesting finger groove grips? Thought you and Zee hate them.
It has a 10 lb trigger spring (according to seller) and the original was in a baggy taped to it. Maybe I shouldn't have, but it looked corroded and not knowing for sure what it was I tossed it last night. Springs are cheap.
I don't consider it a Sunday go to meeting gun so looks stand behind function. I do like the Hogue finger grooves on my Security Six. Maybe pretty wood finger grooves?

I hate *most* finger grooves. The Hogues fit my fingers, so those are ok.
Pacymayers? NOPE. Ugly, uncomfortable and slippery.
