You of all people should be familiar with mini sized items.

Given its restrictions it can still sling a 129gr InterLock at 2500 fps. Seeing as how book loads for my 6.5x55 are only hitting about 2550 fps I dont think the little guy is doing too bad. Keep in mind that my 6.5G loads are not listed in a book as book loads are for a gas gun.

This is correct as I have more than a few loads worked up for various rifles that are above book maximum. I am not afraid to leave the safe zone as long as everything I have in front of me tells me im not in danger of loosing important bits.

That’s why I like seating bullets LONG. Reduces pressure I can make back up with more powder and……it seems from experience….gain velocity while saving my roguish good looks.

Evidently you don't have a mirror abouts.
That or it's a circus variety 🤔

Now back to our short action story

I think one of the main appeals of the little mini action cartridges is their economics compared to bigger cartridges of the same caliber.

My 6.5G is running right with my 6.5x55, albeit the Swede is at book loadings and the Grendel is not, but it consumes about 20gr less powder with each shot if I recall correctly.

The 6ARC at published boltgun loads is running about 100fps behind a .243. Again, using less powder to get there.

I will most likely have a 6ARC eventually.

Other than the .300 BO (coolest round in the world just ask Z) I’ve never been too interested in anything in an ar15 other than the .233.
But the 6 arc is a hell of a deer cartridge, since it’s basically a .243.
