So much discussion over whether it was LEGAL rather than whether it was SMART. I think Alex Pretti can be summed up by this Anthony Edwards quote from Top Gun:

"The Defense Department regrets to inform you that your sons are dead because they were stupid"

True. It astounds me how many people lack the knowledge that all of this can be avoided by a big, healthy dose of staying home and minding their own business. They'd rather virtue signal though.

I generally operate on the principle that it's best not to antagonize or frighten people who are carrying guns. I would also work in a few "plus" factors if those people carrying guns have been previously antagonized by other people and have been working out in sub-zero temperature all day.

Maybe I'm missing something about how these protestors are wired, but it seems like one of those "I don't see what's so hard about this" lessons to me.

In many states there are actual laws restricting CC while participating in "protests" or "riots". NC is one of them, know so because it was part of the CCW class I taught there. No one of the rabid pro-2A crowd is actively fighting those... Just saying.

The rabid pro-2a types don’t appreciate the leader of the free world making statements that are contrary to the rights guaranteed by the Constitution. And in conflict with campaign promises of the “most pro-gun administration.” As well as the FBI director and others parroting the same.
Because THAT is the subject we are discussing. Not state laws regarding protests. Which I’d wager the lack of fighting is due to the lack of pro-2A folks…..not showing up to protest things. And those types certainly are not rioting. Which….riots and protests aren’t the same thing. One is constitutionally protected, one is not…..just saying.

Kid Rock has an alternative that I'll be watching.

Yea. No kidding. The sooner people realize is "us vs them (gov't)" instead of "left vs right", the better off we'll be.
