Making bacon. Butt bacon. Aka buckboard bacon, shoulder bacon.
Took the boneless portion of a pork butt and will be curing it for a week. Cold smoking next week. Why use the butt? It was $1.59 a pound. Pork belly….aint $1.59 a pound.

I bought a ham radio and joined a few Facebook groups to learn more. These fuggers act like having a ham radio license is the greatest and most difficult achievement of their whole being and they should be revered as such. I pissed a guy off by telling him I'd be sure to use his call sign the next time I key up because he got on his high horse just by my asking a question about programming.

Yeah, I have seen that stuff with HAMs. They are almost as insufferable as vegans online.
And if you listen to them talk on the radio, all they do is bitch about having Gout and sciatica

Let's see... Milling front serations and a slot for the RMR both require removing the "bomb proof" tennifer finish, so
MAYBE to protect the bare ass metal

It is supposed to start snowing shortly and 50 mph wind. It should make going to work in the morning fun. CPJ this thing is headed your way, I hope it dies out.

That doesn’t rate a thoughtful response.

Whipping up a tray for sharpening stones that has a built in angle guide on each end for those of us who suck at knife sharpening on stones. A crutch. The easy way out. Exactly like I like it.

I have something like that on my build list
I have a couple of diamond stones I use on the chefs knives that get throughly abused and need a new edge regularly
A razor strop and some rogue puts the final touch on the knives

On a random note, I've been selling the fugg out of my Crosman 1322/1377 PCP conversion kits on both Amazon and eBay. I just wish more people left reviews. And I'm tired of running to the inept post office so I'm going to just send them to Amazon and let them fulfill the orders for me. 60 dollars in material and a few hours of my time has yielded
