Brown truck of happiness showed up today with 20 rounds to make sure it’s going bang and use the brass for load development and 300 brand spanking new shinny cases for loading whatever loads work best. Happy, happy, happy

Anyway never shot any of these Xtreme Penetrator bullets. Don’t really care how they perform. They were in stock and it was the cheapest ammo Midway had in stock. But seeing them up close they look….. interesting? I’m sure they’re just a gimmick but again I don’t care. If I see anything worth killing when I go out to empty the cases I’ll find out if they do Ok.

A 300gr bullet at 1400fps ought to be interesting!

Shoot one of those at night, get a picture of the shot.

The logistics on that are interesting but I think I can make it happen when it warms up a few degrees and spending the night outdoors is more comfortable.
