Didn’t get to spend the night in Winslow. After dinner we decided we were within striking distance so we buckled down and pushed through. We made it in around 10:00pm so we slept a little late yesterday, unloaded the trailer and returned to uhaul, spent a little time couch potatoing and the evening at granddaughter’s MMA class. A great first day! Max temp 114, today will probably hit 117. My wife MIGHT end my life in my sleep…

Phoenix 89° headed to 117°
Prescott 71° headed to 93°
Flagstaff 61° headed to 87°

Yep...As I discovered living in Utah....getting up into the mountains ain't a horrible idea.

Right now is the extreme weather time for southern AZ.
Here altitude is weather.
I remember you like snow so somewhere north west of flagstaff at about 8500 on the windward side of the San Francisco Peaks brings some mild summers with cool evenings and a deluge of powder snow in winter.
