You want a lightly used BO barrel?
Would be the easiest way to test the concept. PM me.
I smell pseudo science coming!

Seriously? You’re just gonna toss out the love of your life?. Think of all the science. The good times to be had with the .300.
You’re dead to me

He admitted to me after shooting my 300, that it was a lot of fun even had a smile on his face, even was giggling like a little girl. Lies. I guess it was all lies.

He's just a shoeless, hairy, barbarian knuckle dragger. You can do better.... You have any ice cream in the freezer?

He’s really not all that hairy. That’s a myth. I’ve seen him skinning hogs in nothing but his chonies. The only reason he doesn’t go full buck nekkid is because his chonies are tight enough to keep the fleas off his junk. They can’t crawl around the waist or leg holes. Otherwise the pigs wouldn’t be the only thing hanging, knowwhatimsayin?
Side note, the general public who’s not “in tune” to this bunch may think the above is something I made up for humor.
Dear general public: it’s all true.

Guilty.
As to the BO. It’s a toy. A play thing. I fail to see the practical application for serious usage.

Yep... But I keep hearing about the giggle factor so I'm now beyond curious...

I am looking at one of these as an addition to the pest destruction rifles.....
https://www.guncity.com/300-blackout-ti ... ded-398028
Fitted with a dial up scope and suppressor, it is an effective deer sized killer out to 120yds despite the rainbow trajectory.....esp on some properties where the presence of houses/people/horses makes the other centre fires a bit too loud. Bh took 2 large fallow with his Remington 788 in 300BO last sunday.....the horses in the next paddock didnt even lift their heads from mowing the grass..... both dropped on the spot. The deer, not the horses.
Range was 95 to 105m.

It’s a realistic 200 yard deer gun. I saw one claim of around 300 yards, but that was marketing wank and that’s pushing it when you math it out.
So 200 yard deer gun, 20 yard night time possum gun. Win win.

I basically, at best want it as a Jeep gun to sit next to me for killings of opportunity and at night next to my sleeping bag.

Folding SBR or folding braced pistol *with a can* would be perfect for that.

I’ve shot one subsonic out to 400 yards. Had to hold 14 mils of elevation. As a comparison, the typical .308 Win hold is 2 Mils +/- a 10th or two.

Bet you’d hold less with a .338 Lapua at 1500 yards than you would with a .308.

That’s why I have a Lapua. It has a practical application.

You SAY you do.
Anyway.
A 200 yard deer rifle isn’t practical? You know, for instance, at a ranch in Texas? Hunting from a blind?
Sayin.
