Somebody long before you made that barrel junk. No sense wasting time, effort or money on it. The bore determines the condition of the rifle. If the bore is bad, it doesn’t matter what the rest of the rifle is, at that price point. That’s an action with junk currently attached to it. New barrel, stock and trigger. Go from there.
As for the barrel on that rifle… well.. You got a donor action.
Those things were shot with corrosive ammo and put away without cleaning.
I figure these days it is more cost effective to re-barrel than to bore and re-chamber.
