Suffered from that on a trip to Utah and the surrounding parks. Wife booked a hotel Brian Head, not realizing that it was not only halfway between two locations we were visiting, but also one of the highest locations in Utah. 10-11K feet and we flew in from Miami. We both didn't feel well, but several bottles of water helped
I experienced a couple times while backpacking in the Sierra Nevadas as a Bot Scout leader. We called it hitting the wall. We had to split some of the boys gear between us just to get them to camp. When I hit the wall all I wanted to do was go to sleep.
At my age I now hit the wall getting the empty trash cans back to the garage in the summer 🤬
We are all getting there.

That was funny! Secretly Tom and I had our “we have to pull the plug if it gets too deep. We can go out to the south…” conversation. 🤣
Always good to have a contingency plan. I've seen that kind of weather dump 6" in short order before.

Yep. Lots of moisture and cold temps with high winds! What’s not to love!

We slept easy under the watchful eye of Andy and Tom's experience!
