Looking forward to hearing how it goes.
Lever actions I was surprised how accurate they can be

I've actually seen quite a few 99's lately
One was a very old featherweight H
Model ....it's carbine size in 303 savage.

Saw this one in 300 savage and it peeked my interest.

Didn't realize at the time some actually had a monte carlo stock.
Someone carved folk art deer/wildlife on the other side.
Nice job in my opinion but they had it pretty cheap because of it 525 IIRC

I don't know 99's but with that stock sling swivels and receiver sight may be a DL model

Especially when you stop and consider that there's about $100 to $200 in Redfield micrometer sight sitting on it.
