When we moved in here 5 years ago, I saw a black and white cat every couple months. I would call it and it would lay down and look at me, but it wouldn't get close. I haven't seen it in 3 years or so. Apparently it went full nocturnal.....

Turned out that what we thought was an enormous raccoon was, in fact, a porcupine

When my brother and I used to go to Denton Hill in PA for the Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous, we went through the Allegheny National Forest. We would see road killed porcupines at a greater rate than groundhogs back home. They must be REALLY slow.
