Can you get it tested or get a conservation officer to render an opinion?

Judging by the expression on the deceased's face, you can't rule out ButtJerm

I wonder if they'd work on possums and if they're feline proof?

Iβve read they work on possums. Read they are supposed to be cat proof. And, read that you may catch a cat.

Groundhog spotted. Ran when bathroom window squeaked. Thirty minutes later he was spotted again. 75 yard shot. I purposely shot at the liver so he would get into his hole. Used a CCI Velocitor. Only took one step. I can't get to him so hopefully my resident possum eats enough to keep him from stinking.
Wife hopes it was the one who bit her last year.........

Was it a belly crawl with the fan in one hand?

Nope. It was a 60 yard shot with it trotting away after my buddy and I shot the same turkey. We got two.

I have an old friend from MS that has asked me to post for him. His handle is Robbie. This man, to me, was superman. Alas, Kryptonite is made of time. I told him of this website, and he enjoys looking in on our little group, though he can't post. He has many talents and went on hunts I can only fantasize about. He also made custom knives, he made one for me, and it is one of my prize possessions.
This pick was taken not far from his house. It is Robbie, his wife daughter and son-in-law.
The knife on the left is the one he made for me, the knife on the left is a scalper he inspired me to build.
