They go on vacation come bow season. I’d wager my best/only chance is EARLY bow season, mid September, when it’s hotter than 5 fat girls in a Honda.

Got to the resort on Crane Lake on the border today, got the fishing gear put together and caught some breakfast tomorrow

So we caught a bit of everything yesterday, walleye, sauger, northern, crappie, smallmouth, sunfish, rock bass, perch and an eelpout above by son # 3, I caught a sunny in 22’ of water! Biggest perch was 10”, been a long time since I cleaned a perch

Got this while checking out a new 300 acre property that has a peacock infestation. He was the dominant male in an 'ostentation' of peacocks.
Yes, thats what you call a group of Pea fowl...an 'ostentation' or a 'muster' of peacocks.
By taking him out, his group will most likely be taken over by the dominant male of a nearby group. It makes it easier to cull the birds if you take out the dominant leader as the other birds in the group normally follow his lead.
Taken with a T1x 17HMR at a range of 115 yds using a 20gr soft point. Neck shot severed his spinal cord.
He was about 2' longer than my quad bike including tail.
