I was gonna suggest.327 Federal since it’s faster than the .32 H&R. But, the .327 Fed is 45,000 psi vs 21,000 psi for the H&R.

I for one will be jealous if you build a .32 mag single shot  Been on my want list for ever. Any .32 mag rifle for that matter.
There is a .32 rimfire locally that just begs for a conversion to .32 mag just don't know about the feasibility.

I'd love that since I'm reloading 32 rimfire now. And Enzo, I didnt even think to look at the forearm today.

I look periodically on gunbroker but haven't been able to find one at a price that I'm willing to pay, but it would be fun to have the 32 rimfire revolver that I have and one of those.

Got a chance to check today. The forearm is inletted fully for a straight octagonal barrel.

The guy I picked that up from had 2
The one I took the bore was pretty crunchy.
I didnt really care as I just wanted the experience.
It actually still shoots well.....when the ammo cooperates.

The other the bore was very nice but was a round barrel.
Mine was 100
Think the other may have been 250
If interested I could check

Well that makes it an easier pick. You Ok with doing a 1/2 & 1/2?

I got alot done so far. Most of the stock fitting to receiver but leaving the bulk because IIRC, you said you'd like to finish the wood. I got the receiver and parts buttery smooth after alot of hand fitting.

Seems like 32 H&R is the logical option. I'll call the master later and discuss with him

Whoever drilled the stock for the bolt should be fired. They drilled from both ends of the stock (crooked) and didnt meet up either hole. I'm going to have to just drill it oversized, glue in a dowel and redo it.

The wood seems to have potential and of course Jeff is a world class GS. Should be a fun little classic shooter!

I appreciate that! I also saw that you called. Sorry I wasn't able to answer but today has been a busy day because I'm having a hand surgery tomorrow and I've been on the phone setting up PT and going over my meds with a nurse, etc...
