Got Joe and Chors their axis. The one I was after, I saw the day before they arrived. Then, didn’t see him for a week and a half. Even when they were here.
Just jumped him on the tractor while shredding. At 5 feet!! The other axis were out in the pasture just watching me. He was at the edge of the pasture in the brush. He jumped up and then just walked away. Back into the brush. If I’d had the Sharps, I’d have shot him. All I had was my .45 Colt. That wasn’t what I wanted to use.
