He was very annoyed with the sound I guess.
And as far as knowing who did it, it was taped to a former employees award make tag thing to throw them off. And he will claim responsibility.
However, I’m ALWAYS implicated, no matter what, when something such as this happens.

Very much so. Battery life is rumored to be three years.Diver43 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 12:49 amIt was still working?CPJ 2.0 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 12:38 am He was very annoyed with the sound I guess.

There’s one half of the sheath. Work in progress

Well, that is pretty cool.

It's a whole new feeling when you can use the cad programs to make things to print up. Ive gotten really good with tinkercad. Started making these to sell for the people wanting to make their own percussion caps.

Fill them up then break them off the sheet?
Snazzy.

Not impressed with the printed sheath so far. I’ll either do kydex or buy a generic leather one from a USA based maker.
The leather seems like a better idea. I pay X amount for the sheath, I pass that onto the customer. I wouldn’t care to only break even on the sheath cost. Because if I’m doing NOTHING to have a sheath, that’s time I don’t spend making one. Time is money.
My buddy had a handful of these he had made and gave them to me.

Nice.

I like that leather sheath
Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
When the sheath wasn’t designed for the knife. And the knife is sharp AF.

An acquaintance makes misc outdoor accessories from Kydex. The general process is to heat the sheets in a toaster oven to 330F then press it over the mold using a sandbag. After cooling the front and back are riveted I’ve seen a hatchet cover that strapped over the back (dull side) with a loop of webbing and a snap buckle.
A knife sheath would be simpler and multiple pieces could be molded at one time. A press to load the sandbag should be a semi easy project hinging 2 pieces of plywood and a latch to hold it until cool.

Off subject:
Had a guy come in today that owns a storage unit. He says that he had to take possession of a unit because the owners died and wanted to know if he could give me a shotgun that was part of it. Needless to say, I now have a Winchester Model 37 in my books. Strange thing is that it's pristine, except for the finish. It's like it's been stripped but not sanded or butchered off, totally in the white.

My wife's cat is around 19 years old. She likes to be warm and she is spoiled......
