The hat is great for all weather, and the boots are great for nasty critters such as bitey snakes and pokey plants such as cholla. Mostly I don't give a crap what others think...

Image
Cholla is a lovely native Sonoran plant that will drop sections on the desert floor which have 1000’s of barbed needle thorns that cause infection if you are stuck. They are difficult to remove. Many people attempt to remove them by hand only to now have their hands covered in cholla spines. The spines will also penetrate all but the thickest leather boots and into a foot or ankle.

All native desert things (plants, animals, bugs) have venomous stingers and all native desert things were born pissed off for life

On a different note. 3D printers are fantastic. I give you the FGC-9. Stands for Fugg Gun Control. Whole thing is 3D printable with few metal parts that can be epoxied into place. People rifle their own barrels with reverse electrolysis and a 3D printed mandrel but I'll just turn down a rifled blank. Takes glock mags too.

Will do. Theres a good amount of videos on YouTube of the same build but it's mostly just people doing mag dumps to show how well it works. I'll also post the rest of the parts as I print them and get it together.

Few more of the other parts. It doesn't look proportional without the buffer tube and barrel.

Im attempting (poorly) to 3d print an RC air plane. The filament that you use is a lightweight type, and its a pain in the **** ass to print with. Ive been dicking with it all day between bullet casting and coating sessions. Ive just about had enough fun for one day.

Any issues problems?

I’m not aware of delrin filament, but there may be some. But it’s outside of the scope of my machine.

It exists, and from this article is a "sunny beach" to print with and a lot of 3d printers can't handle it

Your Bambu should be able to handle it. Hell, my creality v3 ke is suitable so I know yours has to be. As for bed adhesion, I found the trick. Cover your print bed with a purple glue stick film and let it dry then print on it. It won't warp or come off until you want it to.

Printed representation of what the kydex sheath for the Sharp Middle Finger Skinner will look like. Missing the clip, that’s on the way.

Make a few and I wouldn't be surprised if you sold the design. (or got Walmart'ed).
I'm in for a first run!

Got the FGC9 bolt mostly finished. It's pretty ingenious and easy to make.

Thank you both. The designer of this gun made all the parts and measurements in metric and the rod for the bolt is 18mm which nobody carries in local hardware stores. Ended up ordering it from eBay and it came from England. It's mild steel but their 1018 is soooo much nicer than our 1018. It machines like drill rod and finishes really well.

Interesting.... according to this Seafoam boils out of your engine before it reaches operating temperature.
