JSD, how did you rifle the BeeBeeL?
I didnt. I machined it from a green mountain blank, although I bought a 9mm rifling button but I don't have a hydraulic press to use it with.

I see 2 misses
That is good shooting, no excuses with that one. Is that blood or mud on the right rear stock?

I was aiming at the top corner. Adjusted left a 1/4” and called it good.
Yes. A bit of both.

If you haven’t “seat’ed a bead” with a ratchet strap, can you really call yourself a redneck?

Rank amateur at BEST.
You can’t call yourself a redneck till you have seated a bead with a screwdriver and a piece of rope.

Haven't done it myself but I've always been impressed by videos stating a bead with carb cleaner or starting fluid.
The strap thing does work well for quad tires.

Done that also. Waaaaaaay more exciting than straps and ropes.
I do prefer the rope and screwdriver method over ratchet straps. Just twist up the tension, hit the air, and unwind the tension. More handy than ratcheting.
But, the starting fluid is more fun.

Doing it with starting fluid or brake parts cleaner was always something that I couldn't get to work, ironically when I worked as a mechanic. The fuggin tire would always just catch on fire.
Wasn't until one day in my driveway changing a tire on a Honda Civic that it actually worked for me and I still don't know why it did that time. Tickled me proud though.

There’s some awesome videos floating around of flammable mixture tire seating. Some dudes get pretty messed up.

Oh. Lookie here. What is this? A kydex sheath for the Jackson Built SMF?
Since this is a prototype, lets just focus on the good side.

Wavy. The 3d printed mold melted due to the heat from the kydex.

Mill the mold from solid plastic. Which was always the plan. 3D printing allows for quick and cheap and easy prototyping. Id be $50 plus in wasted material at this point if I milled each one. Not counting the hours lost programming and machining. Printing the parts I can do faster. And while Ill sleep. Im a few bucks in at this point with 3d filament.

Makes sense time and money wise

CAD model of the vacuum mold and the base it sits on.
Once it’s formed, the CNC machine will cut the outer profile, and drill the rivet holes. All the small 1/16th holes you see are where the suckage from below transfers to the kydex.

It's coming along. Instead of buying the hardware individually, I found a place online that sells it as a kit so it'll be here in a few days. Until then I'll get the chamber cut but I'm still deciding on whether or not I want to use a boring bar or rent a reamer. I like the way it looks.

Boring bar. 100%.
Unless you have the reamer
