Got my bonus today. Lost 35% to Uncle Sam...

Wife wanted a pantry cabinet to keep all of our big kitchen stuff out of the basement. Didn't find anything she liked or we would pay for.....

Found this old armoire on Marketplace for $75...

Bought some cheap shelving from Menards. Using scrap wood to brace shelves since she didn't want me drilling holes for brackets. Need to stain some more black. Plus the two holding second shelf.

Still one more shelf to go....

Eh. Just as easy this way. No measuring and leveling brackets. Just cut everything to 15'' and use 4/$1.59 corner brackets from Menard's.......

Just hope that historically correct elastic fastener doesn't fail.

Finished(ish). Reached down to pick up a pot to put in it and my back back gave out. Zero warning. Felt fine all day. After my wife brought me some pills, TENS unit, and back brace. It still took two hours before I could get off of the floor.

At least you weren’t doing something stupid and strenuous like wiping your ass or taking a shower. Or heaven forbid had the audacity to sneeze wrong.

I have two ice packs to rotate.

My wife used Simple Green, a brush, and damp microfiber cloths to clean the 100 years (guessing) of dirt off of this. She had to dump the dirty water bucket three times.

New Deadpool made me laugh a lot, lots O'stabbing, lots of stuff going on and being said, gotta keep up.

The spacing of the bosses that fit into the M-lock slots are off. They WERE perfect. But I made some adjustments and ASSumed that would NOT affect the spacing.

I was incorrect in that assumption.

And to answer the question….
Knives will be available soon-ish. Sheath making is nailed down, tooling for the knife blades have been ordered.

I love all things that fling, sling propel, push or expel projectiles. I bought a slingshot and 1000 3/8 steel ball bearings from Amazon. I actually got two. The first was one of the Crosman wrist rockets with surgical tubing as bands but learned real fast that the bands are too stiff and you can't aim if you can't pull the pouch behind your ear to release it. Then I bought another that is the typical "Y" shape with flat bands. Also ordered a bunch of different thickness bands and learned which ones I prefer. Over the past few weeks I got to where I can nail my target stand backer at 40 yards about every 5 out of 8 shots. Something weird happened today, where it just clicked in my mind and now I can hit the target every shot by just looking where I want it to go without looking down the bands to aim. It'll come in handy when "they" shut down the country and impose martial law
