Used to play paintball with someone who used a wrist rocket as a silent option.

Paintballs out of a wrist rocket hurt worse than ones from a regular gun.

Sling shots are fun. Thats another “one day” project for the mill.

There’s some dudes on Instagram and YouTube that I’d rather not get in a fight with if they’ve got their sling shot. They’d put a bearing through your eyeball at 50 yards.

That kinda makes me want to lob one through the chronograph just to see, but I believe it. They smack the target backer with some authority.

I never thought about making my own, until now

And I think I'll eventually get my skill level up to that. It really is just developing the feel, hold, etc... but once you get it down you have it.

Google aluminum slingshot and get inspired.

You can 3D print one also. At least to get the design down. Even though it would be plenty strong printed.

This also reminds me that I have a blow gun that I need to dig out of the basement. Theres nothing like making the neighbors really really question your maturity level

I’m telling you, this is the way for blowguns. Even with bad breath power, these AINT nothing to play with.

I didnt know they made them at 5/8". I remember watching a YouTube video of Tim Wells? kill a black bear with a blow gun and a few other animals. They are actually pretty impressive.

It turns out that a blow gun is more intuitive than the slingshot. It pretty much goes where you're looking. I got some different darts. The spade ones are HEAVY and you can tell by the amount of pressure on the lungs. The short darts and the long ones are where it's at. The stingers on the right are handy for when the dogs won't shut up

People really are idiots. I have a lodge brother that was scammed by who he thought was a woman in the military across seas. He was sending "her" money for her cellphone, food, etc... It actually took a bit of convincing before he realized that he was being scammed.

Anyhow, I go out of my way to find the fake accounts on Facebook and warn the morons that think they'll get a free truck from Kaley Cuoco by commenting on "her" page. You wouldn't believe how many people get pissed at me and tell me I'm stupid. They literally have no clue that anyone can start a facebook page and name it whoever they want and use anyone's photos. I seriously think these people WANT to believe the delusion.
Every now and again I'll get a thank you and some people will message me and ask me how I know that it's a fake account.

Maybe outfitted with a night scope?

Chris brought that to my attention the other day and I so plan on messing around with the idea but I got a small tractor the other day and my inner child really has alot of stupid shìt that needs to be done first

Looks pretty good. It also reminds me that I need to learn how to use my cnc router/mill.

There were no frigs given for surface finish. It’s all getting bead blasted and powder coated anyway. Once I got everything dialed, it’s just copy paste.

But getting to that point makes gray hairs.

I’ve actually still got a fair amount. Just a slightly larger forehead than I use to have. I just keep it peeled back short.
