95% of the time when I’m in a C store I am in company uniform, with a giant rolling billboard in the lot. Which, keeps me quiet.


But, each day that passes, the **** leave my body. Soon, I’ll break.

I was going to work on a Sunday and a woman was cutting the line every other person to get more scratch-offs. When it was my turn she stepped up and put her $2 winner on the counter and I piled my stuff (Sunday papers) right on top of it and said, "I don't think so."

I went off on one guy that was hogging the line because of his scratch off addiction because there was quite a line behind him and I'm standing there with my blood sugar low enough that I'm shaking and sweating like a hog, and low blood glucose levels tend to make people "aggressive."

Another worker opened up another register and apologized for the wait but that's when I loudly dropped the,
"Its not your fault that this àsshole has a stupid fugging scratch off addiction." It definitely got his attention and the rest of the customers who looked surprised and some laughed but the guy didn't say a damn thing to me. I absolutely despise even minor inconveniences if they're of the variety of unnecessary things. That includes parades, festivals, etc... that mess up my commute.

Not a meme. This was in the Tupelo newspaper one day this week. I took the photo from the actual newspaper.
