I've never seen those before. Pretty slick idea but there has to be some way that's faster to make them and less clumsy. I got pretty quick at the paper cartridges after doing so many of them.
And that really does remind me of the Daisy ammo with the cellulose pellet adhered to the back of it.

I saw it and thought of some customs weight DIY pyrodex pellets….

If I was gonna have a BP revolver, that’s the type of ammo I’d like to use. I think it would be better than loose powder

I wrapped some loads for my Navy in flash paper. I haven't tried them but expect good results. Certainly better than cigarette paper.

Those are definitely the poor man's pyrodex pellets. Anything that keeps me from having to fiddle with powder and measures (more kit), I'm all for it.

Now those are interesting.
Even with keeping them in compartmentalized boxes, I wonder how those "lozenge loads" would hold up to a month on horseback.

Interesting proof of concept but I wonder how many people watched that and then went and made a batch of their own.
I saw a video once showing how to build a ship in a bottle. Interesting but who does that?

Daisy the BB gun manufactures did this with their caseless ammo way back when. The ammo can still be found and the rifles are cheap because most shooters didn't like the rifle/ammo and reported spotty accuracy.

I actually have some of these Daisy rounds. They came in plastic tubes. I kinda want to buy the airgun, or make one.

I have one. More of a novelty as it is super slow/awkward to load and not very accurate. But did work well on iguanas from 20 feet.

There's not much collector interest in them. Probably for the reasons Diver pointed out. I don't know the loading procedure. Is it a spring-forward action to ignite the rounds, and how are they loaded, Diver. If there is a spring involved, I would think the recoil pressure would make hitting a target a problem.

On a slightly different note, there's a video on YouTube I watched of a guy single loading pellets into his 22lr and then putting 22 caliber nailgun blanks behind it. I cant remember the exact velocities but it was well above 220 swift. It also proved to be pretty accurate too.
