I have no information on this other than the obvious. Someone bull-puped an M1Garand.

How the hell do you load it, with that "cheek piece"?

No idea. I assume that cheek peice is hinged, but then how does it eject the empties and the clip?

I like how the gun shop has it on its own separate rack to prevent any cross pollination.

Could it be put back into another Garand stock?

Think about how a Garand takes down... What's holding it together and how would you take it down? I'm thinking that first piece of black "plastic??" on the bottom is removable

In the second photo you can see a small coil spring near the rear sight assembly. That might be what's keeping that cheekpiece down and in place????

Ian McCollum / Forgotten Weapons did a video on an experimental gas operated semi-auto conversion of an SMLE. It looked similarly kludged together.

Same story on Browning's first gas operated MG that was the prototype for the 1895 "potato digger" - barely looked like a firearm at all.

The steps of progress ain't always pretty.

I for one had not seen a 3006 bullpup.
Once Keltec gets a look at this one maybe we will see one in their lineup. Maybe 300 mag and extended 40 rd magazine?

You know, it's bad enough to shoot a rifle and have the action 8"–10" in front of your face but, resting your head on the chamber of an '06 with the operating rod working the bolt..... that's too much to think about. Heck, a blown primer would really get your attention. No Thanks!

I dunno. . .It's got me pondering how well the notion would work on the B.A.R. family.

If folks don't want an '06 operating near their face, then they'll hate this....

The difference is, it's a Walther and it's not jerry-rigged Bubbafied. At that, only 176 made in 10 years. That's got to tell you something!

In probably 40 years of shooting I’ve experienced exactly one blown primer… I was seeking a 1000 yard 175 grain 308 load. I popped one primer…. One. Those are things I don’t worry about.
