I am fairly certain that, YES, it is a lizard
I'm also fairly certain that Pierre is correct that it's a skink, knowing your location, I'm guessing a western skink

An all female species whereby the females will court and mate to increase fertility.

But, they're only found in Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso County, TX.
My Google Lens says it's a six-lined race runner.

Don’t need the gurgles to spot a Fastasfugboi Skink.
It’s fast. It’s a skink. It’s math. It can’t be wrong.
