Nice
I've wound up with quite a conglomeration of them from 22-500 BPE
I have a 1917 too
It was made into a semi-target 44 special
Now how does that modern ammo shoot ?

Once I found the right load it shoots holes touching at 50 yards and 200 yard gong is dead metal!! 11 grains of Trail Boss and 265 grain cast .406 Diameter. Pleasant to shoot and doesn't beat the old timers (me and the rifle) up!!

Even with a dark bore and the teeny sights made worse with bad nickel plate… it can put all 6 rounds in one hole from 10 yards.
