Anyone have experience with Vortex Rimfire scopes?

I’ve seen this guy:

Vortex Optics Crossfire II Rimfire 2-7x32mm Riflescope V-Plex

In a bunch of places for about $130. I have a few bolt guns that could benefit from glass. I don’t want to spend a fortune on scopes for .22. The really high end ones are taken care off with Leupold and such so this seems like I’d fit the bill. Comes with shïtty rings that I’d never use. I have a bunch of Nikon and Leupold RF rings I bought on sale at some point so I’ll use those which are great.

Opinions? Experience?

I also found this on Amazon and the price is attractive enough to maybe experiment. $89

Could be fun for some of the heavy barrel guns.

I have one of them in 4-12 or something like that. Works great on a 22 mag bolt gun out to 100 yards.

I've never been dissatisfied with a variety of Vortex scopes. That's dipping into their cheaper stuff though.

For a bit more $ I really like the Tract Rimfire scopes.

I'd go with the vortex over a brand I've never heard of with FFP, especially for a 22RF. That reticle's going to get mighty thick for RF targets, IMO, at 12x

It’s a SFP reticle. But I see your point. Also tough to find 30mm RF rings.

Tract? That’s a new one on me. I’ll have to look into them. Thanks.

That’s a good endorsement. Thanks

I’ve never been satisfied with low end Vortex. I’ll take low end Leupold over low end Vortex. Glass wise.

So I’m assuming Crossfire is the lower end scope? Don’t know their line very well.

Yeah everyone seems to like Vortex. I’ve been close to pulling the trigger several times but I’ve been running an excess inventory of scopes until recently when I finally figured out I need a few to fire scopes.

While not great, we were hitting one inch spinners at fisheads at 100 yards. Yes it was daylight but who shoots a 22 in low ligjt for fun?

The goal here is desert ground squirrels at 100 yards. Not exactly a massive ask.
