9mm carbine recommendation?

I'm itching for another 9 mm carbine rifle. I have a Ruger PCC.
Been looking hard at the S&W Response and get one shipped with tax for about $700. Takes Glock mags.
Any others I should be considering? CMMG is nice but $$$.

What are you trying to accomplish that the Ruger doesn't? AR style controls?

I have the Ruger PC Charger, and think itβs awesome.
If I was looking for something different than that, I would probably go with one of the PSA AR or AK pattern 9mms. Just because I know the controls and platforms

Find a cheap AR lower in 9mm that takes glock mags and a front charging Foxtrot Mike upper to go with it

That is a cool range toy! A little expensive but, if you got it, spend it.

Brigade BM-9 is rising to the top of my list. The S&W checks a lot of boxes but sure has a lot of plastic.

Ordered the BM-9. They say they build on order with a 1-2 week lead time.... Based in Miami and they claim to manufacturer their stuff rather than assemble others' parts.
