Inexpensive enough for a new shooter to not be intimidated by price. We already know a basic 1911 may be upgraded or tricked out as desire/need arises.
One doesn't need a Les Baer, over 3K to get started.

I’ve probably owned a half a dozen 1911’s, or more, over the years. Dad bought me my first one when I was 18. In wish I had that one back, it was a colt 1991a1. Anyway good basic guns lead to a lifetime of shooting!

Great choice for a beginner or project gun. I like that the slide wasn't used as a billboard.

Has a lowered and flared ejection port. That's a nice feature.

I just cleaned 4 of them that I haven’t shot in probably 5 years…. I do NOT want any more of them…

A few 1911s would make wonderful stocking stuffers for all those special people this holiday season
Just think you could even add some buckhorn grips and there are probably others in the safe that haven’t been out in far too long a new 1911 would surely be a positive influence to shoot more often

Got to shoot a Glock recently, couldn't hit anything with it which has been my experience with the few others I've tried. 1911 for the win

To be fair it had a space laser hologram induced sight on it that makes it more of a phaser blaster than a pistol… you shoot my 380 Glock just fine…..
