The Magpul MOE X 22 stock.
I am seriously considering sending my 0.920" barrel, that has been fit to my AMT action (0.030" shorter shank), to JustSomeDude and having it threaded. The laminated thumbhole stock I have is entirely too heavy for general purpose use, when combined with that barrel.
My AMT has a 22" barrel and a "full sized"synthetic stock, as opposed to a 10-22's shorter, wooden one. Needless to say, a bull barrel won't fit that stock.
I like that the Magpul has a reversible piece in the stock so I can use the original, or replacement barrel.
Here's the stock

Anyone handled or used one?
Thoughts? Quality? Fit?
The action will be bedded. This rifle was tuned for use in another forum's online BR matches in the "Click clack" division. Beveled rear of the bolt for better reliability with subsonic ammo, bolt trued and headspaced, trigger professionally tuned, recoil pin replaced by a solid polymer buffer, instead of the VQ coated metal one and I did the auto release mod to the bold release.

Re: Anyone have experience with this stock?
My buddy just put his 10/22 in one with a BX trigger. I’d recommend it. It’s VERY light. Fit isn’t exceptional, but great for the price. Adaptable for barrel contour, as you mentioned. I believe he got lucky and got his from Midway for like $40. I wouldn’t bed it before trying it first. His fit TIGHT and shoots 1/2” at 50 yards just direct swapping and torquing it in.

Thanks.
My trigger's better than the BX I tried.
