Ordered a new Surefire Suppressor!

Post by Zee »

Seeing as how I’m apparently hosting more “Jackasses” (term of endearment) on hunting excursions as of late. I decided it was time to up my Suppressor count and get more guns in the field.
I already have a Surefire SOCOM762-Mini2 that will run on anything .30cal and lower. Along with some others.
Initially I wanted to get a .223 suppressor and considered this one.

That lasted about a week in my brain and I thought, why limit myself to just running it on a .223 Rem when I’m already running a .30cal on multiple calibers? So, I changed my mind to getting another SOCOM762-Mini2.

That lasted about a week in my brain and I thought….right before pulling the trigger……why get something I already have when I can get the same thing with a little more capability?!?

And fired off my money on a Surefire SOCOM 762-RC2 which is what I use at the Shoe Store and works exceptionally well.
My buddy gave me a deal I couldn’t resist and the process has started. Now…….we……..wait……..

The ATF has no friends. Least of all my shoe department. There is history.

Thinking that'll look good on the new Kubota Ruger.
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

If I were getting started again in the suppressor game right now I'd get a 30 cal Surefire and call it good.

That won’t fit on the .22 Mag. I was going to get a .22 Mag rated suppressor as well. But, decided I’d never use it. So, went with a better .30cal can that WILL se lots of use.

That’s really the way to go. Multi use on every centerfire under caliber.

Very nice, I'm a few months into waiting for my .30 cal 7" Thunder Beast Suppressor, which will go between my .300 BO and 6.5 CM. Maybe have it this Oct or Nov.

Ouch, not what I was wanting to hear. They told me on average six to seven months but could take as long as nine months. Good luck!

Nice! Can’t wait for the range report.

I am with SS3. Knowing what I know now, I probably would have done my suppressor stuff differently.

Agree, which is why I started my personal endeavor with a .30cal……if you have multi cals, no reason to start with any suppressor less than .30cal.

Nice… I am in month four of waiting

We ran the surefire cans on our stuff. Didn’t sacrifice anything on accuracy

After going through the process, I’m thinking about going ahead and ordering two more, and then they will be here for my birthday
