I received the Magpul MOE X-22 Hunter stock for Christmas.
I found a threaded, lightweight, 16" barrel for a price cheaper than having my .920" bull bbl threaded, so I decided to go "light" with the rifle, Since I KNOW how heavy it is with the bull bbl on it. The 16" with the can attached is STILL slightly shorter than the OEM 22"

The only "added" weight is the 3.2 oz for the silencer

And here's the completed rifle with the old parts for comparison

I’m mildly interested in that magpul stock. I chopped the stupid barrel band section from my factory stock. (Just the tip) I don’t totally hate it, but don’t totally love it either. It’s got an aluminum barrel, from whom I forget. But it’s feather light.

The barrel channel is a snug fit with both the original AMT barrel and the BCA one. I never tried my .920: barrel in it, Though with the .920 insert in the stock, and the OEM bbl, things would shift around. I was thinking I was going to need t bed the action, but the skinny channel is tight enough that it doesn't move.
10/22s and their clones are one of the few rifles I don't mind barrel contact. I've seen folks get GREAT results bedding the barrel and leaving the action free floated, since the .920 bbl is SO much heavier than the action

Thanks mi hermano
FYI, the barrel is actually a BCA 201 rifle barrel

I'm not expecting "Match grade" accuracy, but I do know it feeds and fires, and isn't very load with the Subsonics I tried and if I can get 1" @ 50 yards, I'll be happy with it

I love my Magpul on my 10/22. Zero regrets. I have a .920 barrel on.

I made a formula error in Xcel (OOPS)
Here's the corrected weights, I save just over 1.25#
