I got one of these last week. It's a plain jane rifle in .22 Hornet. The trigger is awful, it's now getting a trigger job. Got a peep sight on it and is D&T, don't know if it was done from the factory or not; some were. Rather an ugly gun, truth be told. I'll take photos and share them when it gets back in my possession. Trigger was about 18 pounds and that's not much of an exaggeration. From about 1950 or so. It's in great shape, blue is excellent and the walnut stock is un-scarred. I need another Hornet like a hole in the head, but now I have one. When will the madness end.

Looking forward to seeing what you call an ugly gun.
Not many older guns like that available anymore, good find.

For many years I never really saw a value on the .22 Hornet and somehow or other you’ve worn me down and now I want one 🤣

Looking forward to the pictures.

For some of your management probably a perfect choice
Kind of like your 204 Ruger....take the step..
