I put together some Pyrodex loads for my 45-60 using the original recipe of 60 gr of FFg and a 300 gr LFP just for fun and Thank God before I went out to test them I remembered my last Ballistol bottle was on its last few squirts, so Walmart to the rescue, they had the combo spray bottles on sale and they shipped to my door free.

This should last me another 10 years…

There are MANY recipes for it. I use one that replaces the Ballistol with Murphy's Oil Soap. Still using the very first batch I mixed up 20+ years ago

Oh it’s peroxide!! Not water. Ballistol, alcohol and peroxide!

1 Ballistol to about 5 water in a big Zep spray bottle from Home Depot.

LASCA: Let America Shoot Corrosive Again! Seriously. . .WWII era .30-06 is some good stuff! Having the instant neutralizing agent / preservative on hand at the range is a great boon.
