My range has a group that shoots what amounts to .22LR benchrest. I think I might start joining their matches, so that's a good reason to buy a new rifle!
Decided on the Bergara so I could set it up like my B-14 HMR. Mounted the same scope - Vortex Venom 5-25x.
Here's a pic with its big brother.

Yeah, going to be cold the next few days in N GA but nothing like what I'm seeing out west!

I like those. Very sharp looking and probably as accurate as they look too.

Nope. No sign of that.
The action screws were over torqued from the factory.

Here's some Eley club. Three groups looking promising.
Temp around 50 degrees with variable winds around 8-10 mph.

Thanks! There is some operator error involved and I'm already starting to appreciate the " trainer" aspect of this rifle. I need to settle down a bit more in the rear bag and take the time to really get planted before firing.

With the LONG dwell time of a 22LR, when you get good with it from a bench, you'll probably find that your centerfire bench performance improves, I know I do.
I use my CZ Ultra Lux (28.75" BBL) when I'm not shooting well from the bench with other rifles. Once I get settled with the 22LR and switch back to the other rifle, I find my shooting MUCH improved.
