LaRue rifle give-a-way

Copied and pasted from their announcement:
Primary Arms is giving you the chance to win a LaRue Tactical KRG Siete Bolt-Action Rifle Package! Valued at over $3,100, this rifle has been outfitted with a Primary Arms Optics SLx® 3-18x50 FFP Gen II Rifle Scope with the ACSS® Apollo® reticle, and much more!
Personally, IF I won it, I'd swap the scope out, since 1) I'm not one of the "high speed, low drag" types that need one, and 2) I DESPISE 1st focal plane scopes.
That would be a "cheap" solution to having a nice rifle set up how I like it ;)

Thanks for the heads up. I had no clue LaRue had moved into bolt guns.

Why the dislike for FFP? For my uses, the one FFP I have is quite handy.

I like my reticle to remain the same size, so when I crank the power up, it actually looks smaller in relation to my target, PLUS, on my BDC scopes, I can adjust the power so a particular BDC mark actually matches my trajectory at that range.
I have a load for my 06 that actually matches the BDC within 2", out to 500 yards. This is actual DOPE and not just "per the ballistics program"
Funny thing is, that it's with a 208 AMAX and not a lighter bullet

Plus, at 6x, the duplex reticle on my XP-100, when zeroed at 100, where the reticle widens, is dead on at 300, So I know at 100, dead on, at 200, approximately half way between the crosshair and the widening point, and at 300, use the bottom of the reticle as a post. 300 is as far as I'm comfortable shooting at a live target with it

Don’t show this to Chiro1989, if he enters he’ll almost 100% win
