Our idiot Governor signed the “worst most draconian gun laws in the country.” We now have a ban on all semi automatic rifles that accept a detachable magazine and gas operated handguns. It doesn’t take effect for a year so it just hangs there not being enacted……

They do that with the thought, i got it done, now let it sit for a year, hopefully people forget and it falls into place. You guys need to fight it now

Absolutely we do. All 62 sheriffs of the state oppose this bill as they have to approve the background checks for one part of four of the “pay to purchase scheme”

I read the CO legislation. I have no idea what the point is other than pile on the latest “gas operated” boogyman which is a redraft of proposed legislation in AZ.

It is equally disturbing to see the magazine now classified as an accessory in another state. That means we will probably soon see 1 shot magazine limits.

Neither of which are doing much for CO. Rocky Mountain Gun Owners has done a great job of chasing away much needed national level help. Just look at how effective they are...

While not Mayberry, I would go to a Rockies game and eat downtown. There are restaurants I eat down there that I feel just fine being there. Just like everywhere else situational awareness is key, that and a Glock 23!

The absolutely absurd thing about our state is I can buy POUNDS of “legal” marijuana, as much as I have money for -no limit-, but I cannot legally buy a 16 round or better magazine for anything. We have a 3 day wait on any firearm purchase and a new 6.5 “sin tax” on anything firearm related too. Put a 3 day wait on booze or pot and watch the fireworks but a constitutional right? Naw, let’s eff with them!

I have a number of friends that in past years traveled to Southern Colorado to Elk hunt.
Those trips were an eagerly anticipated week in the mountains, a true highlight of the year.
How that beautiful state has devolved is shocking
