It's that time of the year. Midway has their fleece silicon impregnated firearm storage cases on sale again, most of them under $10.

They do this once a year or so and that's when I do a quick inventory and order cases for every gun I have that does not have one. I have been using these for YEARS and through dozens of moves including the last one across the country I have never had any firearm damaged or develop any rust while stored in humidity laden environments like Florida and North Carolina where the air is basically steam. You can literally store/transport long guns like chord wood and they will be fine!

I buy cheap tags at Office Depot and attach them to the cases for easy identification of the gun inside without having to open them when I'm digging through a safe, works great.
