Wife's doing the AFIB thing, not fun.
3 ablations later and she seems stable.
Get out soon.

Knee mail on its way for both of you! I had to research the term "ablation", After three tries I hope they solved the problem.

Yeah, we learned about it when my wife's pulse went over 140. :|

The TEE (Transesophageal echocardiogram) showed no clots and that the surgeon DID clamp my atrial flap, So I won't need long term anticoagulants, past 20 days.
After ensuring it was safe to shock me, I converted on the first attempt. After an hour to recover from the sedation, they discharged me and I am HOME.

Glad to hear it!

Any talk of an ablation or see what meds do?

Well, I normally only have issues when my magnesium level gets low. When I had my open heart back in '23, the surgeon put a clip on the atrial flap, which is where the blood cots they worry about with Afib, normally form.
Now there's a clip they can put in called "The Watchman"
The surgeon that did it, in Birmingham, is the brother of my cardiologist. So she had them verify it was done and I'm good. 20 days of blood thinners and then I'm done with them
