I fell from the wagon

I vowed not to collect stuff. I promised the wife years back.

Last week i bought another gun a pristine Ruger MKII target stainless, 7in slabside barrel, multiple grip sets, stainless Voquartsen trigger installed. Already drilled for a new Holosun 407c on a Lobos compact mount coming soon

Im going back for a couple of mint 1911 45s.

I rationalize using the no small sin logic ie sin big or go home and small sins require equal forgiveness as a big time multi-sins

All evidence is deep in the range bag

Congrats.

Just remember, if she doesn't find out about them for some time, "Oh, I've had these for a while." ISN'T being dishonest :D

The flat-side stainless 6 7/8" MKII target that came with laminated thumbrest grips and factory-drilled for an optic mount?

Son, that ain't collecting. That's a serious shootin' machine.

"Some time" is a vague and ambiguous term. I love it!

It is easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Reaction to both is the same but in the end you already have what you want.

Nice score.

You're going to like the Lobos mount.

I have half a dozen or so Mark pistol variants and none are slab side. Need to fix that...

Very nice!
I shoot long guns left so I understand.

I am anxious to add the dot. It and I did very well a few days ago using the irons. I dont think i am a fan of the fiber front sights. I have the original and will re install it at some time.

Those beautiful laminate grips will have to go for 2 hand grip unless i decide to try a bullseye round. I going with a set off non thumb rest Hogues.

I'm left handed. Not a ginger.

I shoot guns, eat, and write left handed. Everything else I do right handed. I can shoot right handed when necessary (qualified expert on the M-60 right handed). I cannot write right handed and Carl Lewis could throw better.

I had an Aimpoint on mine first. It had a 5MOA dot and even @ 25 yards covered too much of the target to reach the accuracy it is capable of. The Luepold/Gilmore on it has a 1MOA dot. You can see and hit a 1'' target @ 50 yards.

I went through a bunch of different ammo to test and it shoots CCI Green Tag the best. However, even cheap CCI shoots good enough to not notice unless benched.

Jpb 1in @ 50yds very good!!

I shoot CCI Standard. I Sometimes sort a brick by weight and that does improve the grouping. I think the difference is the amount of wax on the bullet?

Right now I am improving but I definitely am not one handing 1in groups @ 50yds more like 2in @ 25yds using a 2moa dot on the 5in bbl Ruger MK II.

@50 yds is 'benched'. Sitting with rolled up towel or jacket

That 7" slabside MKII is one of the coolest variants Ruger made. Good score!

I've shot over a dozen groundhogs in my backyard. Shot two last week. All with my 10/22. Got my Slabside prepped and waiting for the next one.
