Wild Cat identification?
My sister sent these pictures to me this morning of a possible wild cat of some type that she caught on the game camera on her porch. Now this COULD be a domestic cat of some kind, but the size and tufted ears make me think it might be something else.
Bobcats are in the area, but it obviously has the wrong tail.
Any thoughts on what this might be? The area of central Texas has a lot of wild game ranches, so it could be something else exotic escapee

To make something simple is a thousand times more difficult than to make something complex.

Re: Wild Cat identification?
There’s a house cat breed called a Pixie-bob. Kinda looks like one.
Re: Wild Cat identification?
I'm going with Bob's cat. Looks to be large and well-fed.

Those stripes on its chest, legs and tail would be enough to earn it a DSH (domestic short hair) "Tabby" around these parts
