Did it today. I had 28 points and a hard leg so I needed anything (6-8-10 point leg) to leg out. Started good in the offhand but was wearing Walker Silencers. At about the trigger break on shot 7 it switched modes by itself and I had the Walker lady yelling in my right ear. Yoinked a 7 then an 8, came back some with a 9 and ended badly. Total concentration break.

Sitting went pretty well letting 3 escape, and cleaned 300 with a low X count. 600 I had worked out some bugs on Sat and posted a decent score.


Its pretty close timing but I am going to try to get the Distinguished badge awarded at Camp Perry in a few weeks

Still stuff I want to do. Like make the presidents 100, after that the shoot off. High master would be fun. Going to be shooting rattle battle on the PRPA team this year so that will be one off the list. Might be shooting the 6 man team, it depends on who is there and still has working equipment and ammo.

So this year, I am shooting the 2400 ag, will probably find or make a 4 man team, Presidents, NTI, then maybe 6 man, then rattle battle.

Most I can claim is highest score at the 600 yard stage for a couple of matches - - in the Match Rifle category. What you've accomplished is a big deal. Well done!

If I was real disciplined, the one after the 7 would have been a 9 or 10. That stupid ear plug ate my brain. They are going down the road.

Took me a while. First points I got were 5 years ago when the gods smiled on me and I rolled on the golden dog poop at the range and got the first hard leg in Butner NC. 2 years after that I picked up the second leg in a match that was generally low scoring at Reade, didnt even know that I got 6 until the match director stopped me. Work kept laying people off and adding on call and I couldnt make many matches until I retired. This year I hit everything I could and picked up 8 more in North Carolina, came back to PA and picked up 6 at Reade, missed by a couple at the Perry Warm up, and after I got my head back out, shot well enough at Reade for the last leg.
