Sako and I had a fun range day today. The order of the day was Scatterguns and side arms. Was a great day followed up by Las Delicias Mexican food. Dang fun day. Sako shooting my 16 gauge 1897 Winchester. We had a few guests at the range too. Nice buck!

I make that 1897 look small Great day until it rained on us.

Great times and good food. Can't ask for much more

I really like the looks of that country. Good looking antelope country. That buck looks like he's going to be busy in about a month.

Every draw, cut bank and shadow just like you said. I bumped 2 coyotes while hunting that elk. That elk is not the biggest but it’s a true legit plains elk, meaning it never lived in the mountains just on the plains. They are tough to find even tougher to hunt, especially with a levergun!
