Sako and I had a great day with a fellow forum member today! Diver43 was visiting out here so we had our Friday funday. We started out at the range for some shotgunning then into the rifle range. I brought the 16 ga 1897, the 12 ga 1887 and the 12 ga Beretta 3901. Sako brought his gorgeous browning and the 20g SxS. We all hit some and were student of the flight path of some….. good stuff! Then a short jaunt to the rifle range. We shot some fun stuff. Sako brought his 30-30, 32-20, 25-35, a 45-70. I brought a .348win, 300BO, a 45-70 and I brought my twin to Sako’s 30-30. Highwalls, leverguns and one modern wonder my 300BO. The shooting was followed with a great Burrito at Las Delecias, a great little Mexican joint here. Then a few gun store haunts saw some fun things!
Dang good times!!!!

It certainly was a Great Day meeting old friends.
Sako and Elk Creek are excellent host and even better people. Thank You bith for showing me such a good time.

It’s nice! It’s located on a working ranch and is quite scenic!

Great day! Ron is good people. We introduced him the the fine art of vintage, be it replica single shots and may have made a convert

Glad you got to spoil Ron a little bit! He has a few cool old pieces, too!! Been a while since we got together, seems life has been getting in the way!

It really is, and laid out very well.
Of course the scenery is beautiful, in what ever direction you look here.

Remember that really old .25 rimfire ammo you found for me several years ago? Some fired some didn't.
Shooting these guns yesterday makes me think that little rolling block is making a range trip soon.

I remember.....the holster too.
May still have some 25 rimfire.....I shot some 32 rimfire in an old favorite.....some took about 6 hits but eventually went off....lol
