We knew it was planned, as did the girlfriend, but he made it official this weekend. First one in my crew to get engaged, wife is quite happy for another female in the immediate family

She has a ring and a good one at that! If he shoots and hunts he can't be that bad! I think a trip to the range and a quiet sit down in the man cave with a good bourbon is in order!
My SIL is a good man but doesn't hunt, fish or shoot. A computer dweeb! I thought I taught my daughter better than that!

She has him dialing back his hunting, he changed his residency to ND, I don’t blame him, way better tax rate than MN, but, out of state license is not cheap now. She was a little on the liberal side, but she was too cute so I didn’t want to scare her off until the hook was well set.
Walked in with my first armload of rifles and she said “Wow, that’s a lot of guns!”
I laughed and just said, “Brace yourself…”
Next weekend I gifts her a gun and I took her out shooting to the Green Mountains in VT, and she was immediately hooked on the whole “outdoor lifestyle”.
They are trainable
