I was lurking on eBay today ans remembered the Ontario Knife Company is closing its doors, so I was looking at their knives. Well, this was too good to pass up!

The perennial survival and outdoors knife. A true classic!

Way back when I was working, after the earthquake in Haiti, I purchased a case of those. Everyone deployed to Haiti was issued one of those along with a M-9

Solid choice. The Army's Aviation survival knife for a long time was an Ontario knife very similar to that but with a rubber handle. If it's a true aviation survival knife it should also have a partial tang instead of full, in case you accidentally cut through electrical wiring (one of the purposes of those knives is to cut through the skin of an aircraft).

I actually prefer a Gerber LMF II for a survival/aviation knife, but the Ontario is solid.

I highly doubt I will ever be hacking my way out of an aircraft, but I’ll keep that in mind!🤣

I don’t think SS3 will be hacking his way out of an A320 either 🤣🤣🤣
