This was supposed to be a Christmas present but the previous owner’ FFL’s ineptitude kept delaying shipment so finally just showed up today. So it’s a 25-26 bridge gun
Original Ruger Vaquero bright stainless 7.5” years n .44 WCF (damn Sako guy…

) in the original box with paperwork.
This has been a safe queen for sure. No more

To me firing 44-40 from a rifle sounds like your firing a mortar.

Yep. LOVE shooting at relatively distant targets offhand with these old rifles/rounds. Kind’a neat to go BAM…………….. thud.
