Dont forget the Browning Auto 5 recoil operated semi auto shotgun with the very cool speed load function
Gave mine to the nephews else I would have put up a photo

Oh yes and the bottom eject pump shotgun. Later manufactured by Ithaca. A wonderful design for ambi shooters. No more hulls flying across the field of view when the ducks are coming in hot

Browning’s patent was originally implemented in the Remington 17. Next Ithaca had a build ready to go then discovered the Pederson patent for improvements to the firing pin and ejection. I thought was just a simplification of earlier Browning and later Howland? The Pederson patent expired in 1937 so Ithaca didnt manufacture and sell their version until then. Keeping with tradition the Ithaca shotgun was model 37. Browning sold the BPS for a long time. Same bottom eject as the Ithaca

Can’t wait to find mine. It’s been packed away for a couple of years and it’s one of my favorite guns.
